Exciting Update on Solar Power Information Kiosk 21st/6/2024
awbahAAD-SL is supporting Four (4) selected rural operational communities ( Sella Limba chiefdom: Kamethe and Kadada villages. Sanda Loko chiefdom: Rokupr and Makankoi villages) in providing Solar Powered Information Kiosks with funds from Irish Aid through Trocaire. These Kiosks will be essential to accessing information related to Climate Change, Natural Resources Management, Market trends and Safeguarding Complaints, and as well providing an opportunity to easy access to recharging their mobile phones, MP-3 players including other household appliances their by generating income to finance their Community Adaptation Action Plans.
Currently, electrification and installation of Solar Panels including other accessories have been completed in all Four (4) selected operational communities ( Sella Limba chiefdom: Kamethe and Kadada villages. Sanda Loko chiefdom: Rokupr and Makankoi villages)
Official handing over of these facilities is underway after completion of few components of the Kiosk.
