awbahThe Country Director, Programme Director, Project Coordinator and Tonkolili District manager for CONCERN Worldwide yesterday (27/06/2024) visited Robathsint one of AAD-SL’s project community in Tonkolili District to witness AAD-SL training on CMDRR and the collaborative efforts between AAD-SL and CONCERN in building community resilient capable of managing and mitigating disaster risk.
During the visit, the country director and team observed various training sessions and engaged with community members.
The sessions included;
– Practical demonstrations on risk assessment
– Risk mapping & Preparednes
– setting of early warning signs, and community-led response strategies.
The Country Director and team praised the effectiveness of the training and the active participation of the community members.
In a discussion with AAD-SL team and participants, the country director emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering sustainable development and enhancing community resilience.
